Re: Help me from Switzerland....

Not sure, your is different than mine....... mine has a button for Manual mode, no ECON. The automatic transmission must be in P or N to start the car, I cant tell from the pic if that wiring could be interfering with the gear selector. Cant hurt to fix or replace it and try starting then right? Also I couldnt tell from your previous post.... does anything happen when you turn the key?? I mean does the engine try to start and just wont..... or does it do nothing at all when the key is turned?

Help me from Switzerland....

The engine does not start and the starter is OK also the battery...
I must buy my bulbs and in the week I go up all.

If I disconnect the battery and to wait 30 minutes - the problem could be eliminated !!!

Before I must all go up the parts...

Regards

Re: Help me from Switzerland....

It is probably the "low voltage curse" from the starting at the ignition switch that I and so many others here have had that can be cured with a Bosch relay.

2 sxv's for me, same problem on each car and cured 100% with a Bosch relay on each car.

Help me from Switzerland....

Yes, I am on the position " P" - Parking.

The engine turned 3 seconds and it is stopped….

Perhaps…The problem is the " transponder" (automobile key with transmitter " Siemens")?????

On this car - is there an alarm?

I can remove the battery lead (restoring the electronic systems)......

I must soon receive the bulbs and after carrying out tests….

Perhaps - I worked all the day with the open doors and the battery not disconnected...

End of the week - I assembly all the parts....

Re: Help me from Switzerland....

Actually yes!! I totally forgot about that. Since you took apart your dash, you may have tripped the alarm and put it starter kill mode (as if someone were under there trying to hotwire it). Look thru your manual and check how to reset alarm system after you put it all back together, its worth a shot right?? I mean it did happen right after you were in there, hope it works! If you dont have your manual, ill see if I can find mine and ill jot it all down for ya.

Re: Help me from Switzerland....

To reset the alarm:

Turn ignition key to "on" position, disconnect the negative battery terminal, wait 30 seconds, reconnect battery terminal.

Re: Help me from Switzerland....

Given were you live I will bet it is the switch in the transmission so stop the car being started in gear. Put the gear shift in Park, hold the key in the crank engine position then rock the gear change back and foward. You should find out position that will make it start ever time. Good luck.

Help me from Switzerland....

Thank you for the explanations.
Now - I have several solutions…
I awaits parts to assemble all the instrument panel.
After all connections, I try to follow all your instructions…

My opinion:
I think that it is the transponder which stopped the gasoline.
I do not know this car but there is too much electronics….and perhaps it is only one cable disconnected ?
I control all with the assembly...
Bye
