Random Trans question.
How feasible would it be to put in a trans out of a different brand car?
Say, a Rx-8 / Rx-7 6/5 speed ??? I know there's mounting brackets and such that you can custom make, but I figured since the svx trans is so large, that almost any other trans could fit. Especially Rear Drive . It's almost worthy to hang a man for trying to lose 4wd on a suby, but a rear drive svx would be a lot of fun I'd think. Thanks. |

Bolting a different brand trans to the engine would be a real PITA.

Thanks for the responses, I guess I'll go with the more "usual" 4.11 gears .
Would of been fun though to have less power loss than through that 4EAT AWD box. |
