Yeah, I will concede defeat. I think the falcons played a really good game considering it was Mat Schaub's first career start. A loss is a loss though...

So the Falcons have posted two Monday night wins in one season, which has got to be a franchise first because most seasons, they don't even play ONE Monday night game. As is often the case they tried to give it away, but put a mark in the W-column nonetheless. With five wins and two losses by a total of six points; they could easily be 7-0, even though they really haven't looked all that impressive. Still got to face some serious competition, so we'll soon see if they're for real.

agreed, it got really ugly really fast, but then the Jets seemed to actually pose a threat later in the game. Next Up - BYE week then Miami

They were playing the Jets. Almost everyone on that team is hurt...even Vinny Testaverde is hurt now. My friend and I went to the Bar to watch the game and he is a diehard Jets fan. He was laughing hysterically at how bad things were getting. Their so bad its comical.

Yeah, like Al Michaels said, you got the feeling the Falcons should have won 42-3. But we're talking about the Falcons here. (They don't play Houston this year, do they?)
