Auto seatbelt question?

I was just curious when they stopped putting the automatic seatbelts in our cars? I see threads that people want to convert to manual belts! I have a 94L made in March of 94 it has manual belts ,but I could sware I've seen 94's with automatic belts?

you mean., automatic retracting?

my 93 has them... but the dsrivers one doesn't exactly retract anymore
just gets caught in the door every bloody time

looking at getting an SVX for parts... so new drivers seatbelt.. HERE I COME!

I have a 94 with automatically retracting should harnesses.

About half way through the 94 production year Subaru changed to a manual seat belt. They also added a passenger side airbag at that time. So early 94's have auto belts and one airbag, late 94's have manual belts and two airbags.

Il ove my auto seat belts.....I wish the lapbelt did up along with the shoulder...But I will admit every now and then I take my head off when I open the door and look out.
