Climate control Gone. Wheres the sensor?

My sensor does not work anymore to tell the climate control unit to start the air conditioner. It doesnt start blowing at all, it just sits there. You can manually turn up the fan and such but the fan dos not engage. I would think that it should at least engage the fan if it simply needed recharged. Where is the sensor and is there any easy way to test my theory?

If it is low on refriderant, the compressor will not engage at all. That is one way to tell if it needs recharging.

I would say the problem is with your blower motor. Mine does the same thing and it will start turning if you give the motor under the dash a light tap.

It will also help to take the cover off the motor to remove all the dust from the worn brushes. There will be lots in there.
