I guess you could really mod it out. Then we would have one Randy Johnson who would be Stock Boy and another who would be Mod Boy!

I say mod it if you think it will look better. By the time these cars will be collectibles, we will all be in flying cars. Besides there are way too many cars being produced for any car to a collectible this day and age...

I guess I'll HAVE to leave it stock, I've NEVER been accused of being "Mod", even in the sixties!

It's your car do as you like. As for the tire sizing, I'm 99.9% sure you cant do that. (unless you have a 94L) with out checking the overall diameter. Different size tires mean your wheels will rotate at different speends. This confuses the ABS and the traction control.

Before someone sizes the 245 is the with not the height, the number that is the height is given in a percentage of the width. 245/50's are not the same sidewall height as a 235/50. I'm not a tire expert so my info may not be accurate, but I think that is the way it works.

You may have issues with offsets too. I noticed there isnt alot of room between the side of the fender and the outer edge of the stock tires. I never noticed it until I lowered the car. You probubly wont notice it ntil the ire starts rubbing on the inner fender when you load the trunk.

Didn't smallcar just "update" the corners so they fit better? (or was that the headlights?)

I'm certainly no expert on the matter, but beg to disagree. Subaru will sell more Imprezas in the next five weeks than SVXs sold in five years. Compared with other unique platforms, surely most would consider the SVX production run extremely limited.

Maybe the first step toward "collectible" status is for SVX enthusiasts to begin considering -- and treating -- them as such.
