Cool things your kids say...

I was telling my daughter (shes 11) that she should start saving her moeny for a car. That way she could afford something that wouldnt be a piece of junk. And she said that when she turns 16, she's buying an SVX becuase SVX's are cool.

Well.. I cant argue.

Haha... When i was in traffic the other day, in the city, a little kid on the sidewalk looks over and yells 'NICE CAR!' and gives me a thumbs up

That made my day!

That was her way of saying, "Double my allowance, Daddy", & "Put some quarters in the Tranny Jar while you're at it".

I posted this on the Yahoo board, on September 21, 1999, just short of my "one month anniversary" in the SVX:

I had stopped into the local Franey's Food Mart for a cup of processed English Toffee cap . . . cappi . . . capu . . . hell, Italian Coffee and sitting in the parking spot next to my Baby was a rusted out 78 Fairmont. As I approached my car, the toothless lady with the blue bandana "do-rag" looking somewhat like a heroin addict, stuck her head out the window and yelled (though I was close enough to hear her in her normal tone), "I just HAVE to tell you . . . THAT is a nice-ass car. Being from Kentucky, I can appreciate the most upper crust of bourguois compliments. Nice-ass. It does roll "spritely" off the tongue.
