Rear diff removal?
How are you spose to get the rear diff out of the car i heard you can just unbolt the rear diff and pop off the rear half shafts. Is this how your spose to take it off? THANKS

Then I removed each side's rear suspension. I was planning to replace all the bushings anyway so it made sense to me to do that first. With the suspension loose, I could pull the axle out of the hub and lay the end of the axle on a clean mat. When both sides were disconnected, I removed the front diff mount which I believe has three bolts and removed the two rear nuts. Then I used a floor jack to slide the diff forward out of the mounts and lowered it out of the car. Only after the assembly was out, did I separate the axles from the diff. There are many ways to do it. This just happened to work best for me. Doug

yeah I already have the drive shaft and exhust out, becasue the tranny is out. Do you know if you can take the rear diff out with out messing with the rear suspension?
