hard power steering sometimes??

did anyone have that problem that power steering is getting really hard sometimes?
and its harder then it should be so more force is needed by the belt and it slipps while its pretty tight?

anyone have a diagram of power steering and it troubleshooting?

if that valves are clogged and fluid does not go freely any way to clean power steering?

cheers

yeah, i've experienced tight power steering. interestingly enough, it seemed to go away when we replaced my suspension (!) no idea if they're connected...

Sometimes mine works for months just fine then bang its goat wrestling time again! If somebody has the answer I'd like to hear it, I need the answer soon (need to go to work!)

Same problem here... parking is a ***** now and then... Not too bad but noticeable once a week let's say. I've heard that '92 SVXs have speed sensitive steering. Could it be related to that system failing?

ps diagram?

So anyone has PS diagram describing how system works?

yeah i ve heard bout that speed sensetive PS and passive 4ws things

but still sounds bit weird.......

still trying to find out how my sneaky 4ws works...lols

noticable that i got only 3/5 of my PS belt left (long story, but it ripped ) and it slips every now and then... which seems as PS is hard...

so anyone heard of cleaning PS system? as u can clean engine or fuel systems...

helllo????

So is anyone there???

what valves are involved in ps ? how can i find em?
speed sensetive ps? and yeah my belt seems to be tight and its new and still i hear that squeeky sound when its cold like 10 degrees celcium

could it be bad pump? but i can easily spin it with hand and its easier then my alternator so seems to be ok...so maybe some valves clogged or speed dependent system dont work fine?

yea seems to be a worn out subject

I did the o-ring thing initially it did not fix the problem but a couple of days later boom it was working better then ever! I think I forgot one thing and that was to lubricate the o-ring before reinstalling..
I did the operation in the dark with out a good set of tools so If I can do it you can to.. good luck let me know what you found out.
thanks

Sergi I am here, but a chapter to include in our/your book covering how the the power steering works is a bit much for a one finger keyboard operator.
