Okay, when is she gonna be new?

Eventually Penny will be all new....
However, I'm getting very tired of having to spend money to replace everything.
I've had her for 4 years; I love her; she is part of my identity (those who know me realize this); I will never sell her.
I'm just tired of replacing all these 125K+ parts!!!!
Sheesh!!!!!

SVX's

Hi Michelle, The bad news is every car only gets one new. Every thing after that is a delaying action. My '92 is almost perfect in every way, but its still a '92. I have less than ioo,ooo miles on her but thats 100,000 more than it had in .92. I got my SVX in 1997 with 31,000 miles on her. I've enjoyed every mile since then. If anything it runs better now than it did when I got her. You can only do your best and someday something breaks. All you can do is fix her and keep enjoying the drive. As I posted the other day, cruising down the e-way at 90mph she was smooth quite with just a murmur from the Stebro exhoust and it was made 12 years ago and has almost 100,000 milea on her. Life is good! Take care and enjoy your Penny every time you drive her. BOBB

yes, I need a parts car....
yes, I need a 2nd one to build for my hubby.....
yes, I have to fix Penny.....

I need front and rear struts, rear brake calipers, and *maybe* a rear right hub and bearing (I'm hoping it's the rear right because I've already replaced the left rear hub and bearing)..... maybe I just need a rear-end out of a '97.

I will continue to fix her.....
I will continue to love her.....

never let go, never let go!

just make sure that your Hubby understands that you get first tibs on parts....if you both need the same ones

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.
