I've done something like 500. It was cool. No hill - I was flying. I think svx_commuter has flown too.

Yeah, I did 550mph on a 747 once going to Japan. That was pretty sweet.

But you have to ask yourself... in relativity to what? The earth is rotating at an extremely fast rate... and it's also orbiting the sun at an extremely fast rate...but our galaxy is spinning at a ludicrous rate, so...eh... we're ALL going really really fast here.

I did 155 mph!

But it was scary, cause it took a long time from 136 mph to 155 mph!

I once took my '97 SVX up to 137 mph as indicated on the speedo. Tha t was when the car was relatively new. Then I warped the front rotors decelerating to avouid the state trooper that always sits at I95 and I495. That's how I learned about warpped rotors & the SVX.

I also spent 14 months going thru my favorite S-bend every morning on my way to work at DuPont. That's how I got up close and personal with one of SUBYDOO's rear wheel bearings.
My top exit speed from the S-bend was 111 mph as indicated on the speedo.

I've had mine up to 145, but the previous owner had a picture of the speedometer pegged at 160 on a trip across Arizona. Apparently his GF took the shot. She was cute, too.. I met her.
