When I used to run, I'd generally put 40+ lbs. of air in the tires. Of course, those were 60 series or taller tires, and I don't know what's recommended for the lower profiles these days. It kept the tread on the bottom and made quick transitions less scary.

its hard to tear up a tire on the street, i mean like they could have been shaved a bit.

ya i made my frist runs at 10lbs over, and then switched to 5lds, i dont know if it was becuase i was getting more use to it or not but the car felt a little bit happier, this was a really fast track, as you'll see when i get the video up here pretty soon

I have to tell you, I thought this was going to be fun but I just had no idea HOW MUCH fun. I am totally hooked. I was in STS class with my Impreza, due to some suspension mods. This season, I'm just competing against myself anyway, and having fun. If I get decent, I'll start worrying about buying or building up a car that will be competitive in its class, but this year I'll get destroyed and love every minute of it

Check out the heavy duty braking in picture number seven.

How did the 'Vair do?

And finally - Phast's secret to success:

Remove the floor mats!
