Them speeds seem to be a bit low, and that that ping is horrible for 50mi.
I get 10x them speeds and I'm on COX (in CT), maybe COX just sucks in FL?

You can check if its the wireless network or not by plugging your cable modem directly into a computer with a ethernet cable and run the speed test again.
If the speeds and ping are still low that will tell you your cable service is poor.

If it is still slow when its wired, the next thing I would ask would be to check would be how many splitters you have on the line to the modem.
If the cable line to your modem has more than one 2 way splitter on it, it can lead to signal loss and crappy pings and such.

My line speed was very poor when I first got internet. I called and complained a few times, they sent techs out.
After about the 3rd or 4th trip out to my house they ended up running a new line from the street to my modem and my speeds went up 10x.
