POW!!

Yes, POW... drivers side window has always worked up and down perfectly. Today as I drove up to the Subaru dealer to pick up my new climate control blower moter, and parked, (window was down because the airconditioning fan moter is bad) I raised the window to the top with the switch, and POW! Switches no longer had anything to do with raising or lowering the window. It stoped in the totally up position. I can manually move the window up and down by hand, but it tries to slide down just a bit by itself. That gravity thing!

I thing it is broken

Keith

Re: POW!!

And... I don't think there would be a better way to describe exactly what happened, with the exception of my bragging about getting a new climate control motor

No other method could have possibility have received a more through and informational response!

Thanks everyone for taking the time to help me and thanks you also Trevor for your input!

Take care,

Keith

I got the idea, but help about what, what is the topic? Transmission, electrics, struts, steering, paint, tyres, fuel ? If the heading is explicit, those wishing to assist, do not need to open the thread to find out if the topic is within their area of expertise. A matter of caring I guess.

Trevor.

Cheers, Trevor.

It might not be their level of expertise Trevor, but if they can learn something and it ever happens to them, they will benefit down the road. I check out most threads just to learn... for that reason alone, even though I am not having the same trouble... yet. Anyway, I wanted to let everyone know that I am the proud owner of a new climate control fan motor!

I installed it today and it moves a lot more air that my previous re-oiled one... a lot more.

It is hard to discern what interest that others have acquired.

I read it 3 times and I enjoyed it every time!

Take care,
Keith
