fuel injectors

Hi all!

I am going out and dropping a dime here (well add alot more then a dime...
)

What fuel injectors work for the SVX? What cars do they come off of? Just so when I order the parts I have some options....

Thank you all!

Re: fuel injectors

Like direct fit, plug-and-play sort of thing, no other mods required? OEM Subaru SVX injectors. If you buy an ECUTune Stage 2 chip you can (actually, you have to) run the Nissan Z32 MAF (300ZX TT) and the 370cc injectors from the SR20DET motor. Someone correct me if I got that wrong, I hate remembering funky engine codes.

Re: fuel injectors

Sounds right, but VG30DETT also works for stage2v7 and comes in packs of six.

Re: fuel injectors

Are you replacing a bad injector? All of them? Don't run and spend money yet. There are a lot of stock used injectors laying around right now from all the 2v7 people.

Re: fuel injectors

there's also these options in it's bad injector
http://www.rceng.com/Fuel-Injector-Cleaning-P43C0.aspx
http://www.fuelinjectors.com/

notice on the bottom of RC's page there's math.
based on which it shows 370cc injectors, @ 43psi are good for up to 335 crank hp.
where as stock injectors good for 235 crank hp.

I recommend doing this anyway, this is step one for me with all injectors.

I also have at least a full set of SVX red tops, but have not been re-conned as they were the ones I had in last.... but based on your post i assume you're only looking to upgrade; just putting it out there if any needs stockers.

I'll go this way, when I can have it sit for a while.
I don't seem to have any problems, but think it would be a good thing to do while it is not getting any road time.
