Great idea YourConfused!

That is why I was so excited to get the economical "fix"
The hood staying up helps tremendously while under it fixing stuff!

I am a happy camper

(clazy Texan!)

(I was raised in Texas and will always be a Texan) I hate it here
If you get any advance information about the date for the state of Texas declaring their independence again, please send a private message. I will be right on the road "home" in my SVX.

OK so I ordered the struts from NAPA, but where do I get the little screw in ball thingys? Do I have to order them to or are they standard screw in ball thingys? Also, what is the best way to get the old struts out of the bracket?

to be honest with you, i just used a cut off wheel and carefully cut open the part of the strut that the ball was in (my old struts were completely bad)
im sure you probly have to order new ball joints but, eventually i got mine out and we just re-used them

Get the old struts out...

Gy whacking the strut at the top with a heavy object with the strut fastened in place.

Unbolt the bottom one and vice it and cut the "rivet" apart without damaging the bracket.

I will get the ball brackets # for you
