Tom, how do you cover the auto/manu dccd feature on your dash dimmer switch? is the "dash dimmer switch"'s 4 level on the SVX will cover the "variable switch control in STi"?
PS: don't know how many level in the DCCD of STi's! look like variable from the above pic.

SSSVX, I believe that his is manual only. So no need for a manual/auto switch.

Adjusts the power from the front wheels to the rear wheels. It controls the center diff.

it does not adjust the power from front to rear.... The bias is always 35front 65rear for me... This merely adjusts lock much like 4wd vehicles with a variety of duty cycles

Tom I"m interested in your take on someone using the 5-AT in a situation like this? I beleive it has a DCCD and for those that have gotten too comfy with the Autos. It comes out of the 3.0R Outbacks and for 08 will be in offered in normal not Outback 3.0R legacys. I plan on getting a 3.0R engine and corespondin 5AT for my Impreza and wanted to know what you thought of them?(Outside of all out balls to the walls 300HP shinanagans?) I think it might be a nice option for a lot of SVXers here.

Well thank you for the fair biddings and I'll remember to post findings on the 5AT when I do the Impreza. It's a tear-down and rebuild prodject but that's the fun of it right?!
