Small Car shift kit installed but...

OK got it in the mail today less than 15 mins install go out running around think hey this feels real good no power light well on the third start I got it....get home check fluid level nothing showing on the stick go across the street buy 2 quarts atf dump in restart power light and still nothing on the stick. My car has had Zero problems until now anybbody know wats going on oh and I screwed the shift kit in a fair bit but no bottoming out so I don't think its in all the way. suggestions and thoughs are appreciated

How are you checking the fluid? There should always be oil on the stick if checked properly. Is yours that low? Is it leaking out somewhere?

Do you still have the OEM resistor plugged in?

Resistor still plugged in. Checking with engine warm and running and power light only comes on after the next start after adding fluid. and as far as I can see I'm not loosing any fluid either I'll take it into work tommorow (valvoline with the pits) and try and figure this one out cause its pouring oustide here....and after adding four quarts I had some smoke comming out and it looked like it was about 3 quarts over this time I really wish I could get something near the same result every couple of times.

Update: I unplugged the vaccum line that should turn it on and nothing changed so I'm assuming the unit is borked will test with multimeter tommorow.....sleepy.

Last update I found out today that it was just a "way too much" type settig on to small adjustments from now on.
