buh-bye exhaust rattles.

I took my car to a local exhaust shop the other day and complained of my 'buzzing exhaust' fully expecting to have them tell me i needed a new resonator. Guess i was wrong. They yanked off most of the heat shields and its pretty much rattle free now. They said there were a lot of stones in between the heat shields and the pipes causing the noises. There is still a hint of buzzing which i attribute to a failing resonator. I guess thats the next fix... (after my bearings of course)

I agree, and it actually sounds much nicer too. Lot more of a roar at low rpm. I figure for a $30 fix, its WAY cheaper anyways.

Yeah, they quoted me $40 for that, but said I had to pay cash so it didnt show up for them as modifying my exhaust. Without being able to put it on a credit card, i really couldnt afford it at the time, so im opting to live with it for now
