Try a search for 'vindicator' at http://www.fastroadandtrack.co.uk/classad/index.html

Westfield SEight

Instead of a huge lump of american iron, how about that nice '60's buick cast-off that we adopted as our own, the aluminimum Rover V8 ?? It weighs less than an iron 4 pot, has good tuning potential, and is already available in a Seven style car fully SVA'd (that's a UK type approval for low volume specialist car manufacturers).

I wouldn't want to look up at the front step of a <insert semi-truck vendor name here> though.......

I have a friend who races a Westfield Seven. Apparently the way to go with those is a large motorbike engine because of the power to weight ratio.

He's currently using a 1000cc Yamaha giving him about 460bhp/tonne. I've ridden in it a couple of times and it's really scary.

Yea, that's exactly what I was thinking of... An SVX engine attached to a 5 speed RWD tranny would be the shizzle!!! Well actually ya probably wouldn't even need a 5 speed in something like that. Ya could probably bolt a 4 speed or something like that to it and I'm sure the EG33's torque would beable to handle the extremly light weight of that car... Cool project to see... Anyone up for it??
