Question BRAKE "squeal"???

A couple of weeks ago I rebuilt my calipers, put SS braided brake lines and new hi-tech brake pads [EBC Green Stuff (Kevlar) in front, Akebono ceramic in rear (couldn't find green stuff pads for rear)]. As I posted, they worked about 50% better!

A week later, my cross-drilled rear Brembo rotors arrived from Motorsport Warehouse. I put them on without any change to pads. However, I did have the new rotors turned before installing.

NOW, THE REAR BRAKES MAKE A HISSING SOUND [NO MATTER HOW HARD I BRAKE]! Is this a pad glazing problem, do the holes cause this for some reason, YIKES! . . . . HEEELLLP!

To recap, this hissing noise was not present with the stock rotors, but now is constant (after the first couple of brakings - I assume it heats up before making the high-pitched buzzing or hissing sound during braking).

Your comments would be greatly appreciated, THANKS!

Having never done it myself, I'm not positive, but I think the new rotors need to be broken in. I don't think new rotors need to be turned, and your problem could be that they were turned wrong when they were done. Then again I could be completely wrong.
