my seat wont go forward

....so i took it out, it goes in reverse, but not forward (its electric). all the wires look good...er something. any ideas?

Try getting out of the car, and then using the up button. Mine doesn't like to work when I'm sitting in it.

That doesnt work, tried everything pretty much. I've been thinking though; maybe I'll keep the seat out of the car, its just weighin' things down anyway. A milk crate would be more than fine...maybe glue some cardboard on the sides for bolsters....or better yet, you think they make carbon-fiber milk crates?

fixed it, the contacts on the switch mechanism were corroded a little, scraped them clean and voila, forward motion...so me removing the seat was a complete waste of time.
