There are some fantastic individuals...whether it be "Earthworm" who helped me understand that tranny removal is easier than engine pulling...he was right...to ensteele... who has probably has seen it all ...to Aly who covers the fem fatale...to Napa who has an incredible humour....to Chike who does the 1/4 mile...it's all here u just gotta look for it...it really doesn't get much better...
I forgot what I wanted to say "Granpa Simpson" syndrome consider yourself lucky....and don't forget Joe in Ireland....SVX rite? OK!!!

As a completely un-involved bystander... I say he deserves it anyway

radiator crack

Tom, I used the plastic welder but did not use any rods. It ended up with small pinhole leaks so I backed it up with QuikSteel putty, seems to be holding a little better. I don't think the white rods can handle the temps.

The plastic rods are supposed to be the same plastic the radiator is made of. A problem with this is that it's impossible to put any pressure from the back side. When my weld failed I could actually peel the plastic that was used to weld right off.

the thing is that the weld held to the plastic fine its just the weld cracked open(couldn't handle heat) i think thats all that happened. i am stilltrying to fix it though. im an idiot but i would like to play w/it within the next few weeks before i get this radiator.
