Unhappy To the "old crowd"...

If you're an ex-Yahoo!'er dating back some time... like myself... no doubt you'll remember Elf! Ed Franklin; one of the great posters in his day... always friendly, always a nice word for everyone... and some REALLY nice custom wheels on his SVX. Well, no more... just wanted to let everyone know that he sold his SVX and bought a Corvette!

Traitor!

Guess it's one of them mid-life-crisis things... I daresay a few members around here know about them

Hey Thumper!

Great to hear from ya, even if it involves a member "going over the wall". Is this what happens when the SVXit posts your car on the club site? Or maybe that was a going-away gift. His Konig Rush wheels really looked great on that car.

Don't be a stranger! Don

When I first became a member of the Yahoo club, Ed and I kept in touch, since he was "close." I suppose you got the same e-mail I did.

Luckily, Ed is planning a trip to the Corvette museum and he has to pass through here. We're gonna meet up for some Bar-B-Q and conversation. He told me that he really wanted to keep the SVX, but, his wife wouldn't let him. C'est la vie.

When I first bought Cleo, and was looking for information about clubs, etc., Ed was the person whose website I first visited, and who gave me information about the Yahoo club. I'm grateful to him for that.
