Have you thought about taking it an upholstery shop? I replaced my headliner with another but that is only because the NW has an abundance of Subarus. Being south you will probably have a bit of trouble. I wouldn't suggest shipping as it bends and breaks easily.

Re: wtb beige headliner

The fiber board on mine is shot. I don't know what chemical or what I got in my sunroof but somehow my otherwise 100% rust free car seems to be the only SVX in the world to have the sunroof frame rust out. My car doesn't have a spot of rust even on a bolt head but the sunroof frame rusted to crap and leaked ruining the headliner.

Actually, now that flatscreens are the norm it should be easy to find a TV box to ship it in. My concern is finding someone fastidious enough to uninstall it without breaking the pins the hold it up out of the fiberboard.

I don't think there is a sunroof that doesn't have rust. I pulled two and they both had rust. You can fix the fiberboard using fiberglass. Uninstalling it is easy as long as you slide back and not down. Is yours broke on the holding points? If you really can't find one let me know I might be able to source one.

Re: wtb beige headliner

I guess It's a community secret then; I've never heard of one rusting out before. I just replaced mine with one from a salvage yard out of another 94 and it was/is still perfrect.

I'll hold out the search until a nice beige headliner comes up. Enough SVXs get parted It can't be too long before an lsi goes under the knife

Nope, both of mine, both Florida cars with minimal rust, have rusted out sunroofs.
