For anyone who looks at this, make sure to pay very, very close attention to the fuel lines and steel brake lines in the rear. The worst of the worst for rust seems to come from this area and while the body may appear okay (hard to even tell that based on the 2 pics), underneath could actually be quite nasty.
Just something to look out for, even on a lower mileage car.

Mike, you should seriously consider it for yourself. I remember you telling me you liked the black with the beige better than the black on grey. Please you would be joining an elite club in the 97 not to mention its nearly in your back yard. Go for it. Offer them $4000, bet they would take it. That car wont sell, it will either go to an auction unless they discount it substantially. If I wasnt tied down with my problematic 97, I would seriously consider this. Cmon Mike, this is your best chance, go for it.

I like the older ones. Less problems . Seems like the people with the 96- 97 have more complicated problems . Easier to throw tan seats in it. Would look cool with the gray accents. I thought of it myself when I had the pearlie.
