Most annoying tv commercials

Its a toss up between "HI BILLY MAYS HERE" with his what seems like a hundred different gadgets he tells you about, or all the stupid GEICO commercials, especially the ones with the dollar bills with eyes

I have my own history with GEICO: they changed my policy without my consent and attempted to bill me for the increased premium. When I refused and persuaded them to revert the policy to original terms, they still tried to bill me prorated amount for the days that "new" policy was in effect (that is, while it was in the mail and disputed with their CSRs).

Now imagine that, they keep sending me postcards asking to reconsider and switch back to them, for 6 month now. The latest one almost cost me a divorce: my wife picked up an envelope with a heart-shaped address window and "Baby come back" inscription in pink letters. That's especially rude given that I filled in their "customer satisfaction" survey, where I checked to box "please don't contact me in the future". They think they're clever, eh?

Re: Most annoying tv commercials

On the flipside..... does anyone else think the LL Cool J Old Spice commercial is hilarious??? I dont know if they show it on the east coast but it has him at an 80's dance party, and he's all nerded out approaching some girl. She turns toward him and says "Hi LL Cool J", where he lets out a thrilled squeak and runs back where he came from Then it goes into instant replay....

Self depricating humor is always the best!!

Re: Most annoying tv commercials

What is up with that stupid, "you're not thinking with your dipstick" Castrol ad, with that red-bearded twerp prancing around swatting guys with a dipstick? Makes me want to throw something at the TV.
