Custom rear spoiler ideas ???

Hey guys, I have a 92 and of course no spoiler on the rear. I dont really like the curved style that came stock on the later models, so i wanted to ask if anyone has any ideas on what would look good there? I prefer the racing type flat wing style as opposed to the arch type, but theres so many options I though maybe someone here could recommend a good wing type. Thanks

What color do you like your rice, white or ugly???

Some of the 1992's came with spoilers. Both of mine currently do... All the custom spoilers I have seen look like ...

Re: Custom rear spoiler ideas ???

I E-Bayed a rear spoiler from a black '95 Saturn.

It looks very similar to the OEM design but not quite the boomerang they made. More like a banana.

Still I qot it for a 10th of the cost of the OEM style;

and it fits and looks right to me.

check my locker for pics.

Re: Custom rear spoiler ideas ???

You could always get one of those big aluminum rice boy wings
although I work with a guy who has a black on on his tC and he has it adjusted way low, so it really just looks like an aluminum copy of the stock wing, although coupled with his flame job and grapefruit launcher, it looks pretty ghey... He made the mistake of trying to race my wife in the turbo legacy once... eh, yeah, didn't happen.... (Flames !> turbo)

I don't see anything wrong with the stock spoilers... They fit the lines of the car... My 1995 came with one...

Re: Custom rear spoiler ideas ???

I've seen pictures of a Japanese SVX with a spoiler from a Legacy Blitzen on it. It is what I want to do, but you have to imprt the spoiler and it costs over a grand plus shipping.

Re: Custom rear spoiler ideas ???

I don't like the JDM wing as much as the USDM one. I find it looks more like it's just stuck on the side of the trunk, rather than matching the lines of the car the way our do.

Now, my favorite of all is the prototype spoiler.

Re: Custom rear spoiler ideas ???

When I bought my '92 it had an aftermarket spoiler installed. I'm ok with the look of it, but I think I like the oem spoiler more. This one says "California Designs" underneith it.

Re: Custom rear spoiler ideas ???

I was thinking about just getting a stock like mid to late 90's honda civic style wing with the brake light in it.

Just the simple arch wing i think would look nice, plus the extra, thin lined brake i think would look good with the other one already on the trunk.

Just havent gotten the money to do so yet.
