Pics of front axles

Does anyone have pictures of their front axles removed from the trans? The shop that my pearly is at called me and said that the axles have stubs that go into the tranny while the 4.11 tranny I gave them as stubs on it. I know from looking at pictures of trannys that the stubs are supposed to be on the tranny, but then why are the stubs on the axles of my stock tranny? Im thinking maybe they pulled the axles out and the stubs from the tranny pulled out with the axles, so how would they go about righting this? Just pull the stubs out?

This shop really needs to have some qualified people... or at least pay for all data. The roll pins of the axles come out and then the stub piece will come out of the inner joint... and the stubs will slide in.

who did you let touch your car??

my god, subarus have worked this way forever......

What he said?/\
Just knock the roll pins out and remove the stubs from your axles...like they should have done in the first place.

Yep, I went to the shop today and sure enough, they didnt remove the roll pins. They were completely oblivous to the fact that they were there, so after I pointed them out to the owner of the shop he realized how it was supposed to work. And then after all this time of them messing around....their not gonna put my car back on the lift until monday......Deffinetly the last time I go to this place, the owner is nice, but it doesnt take "nice" to work on cars.
