Sounds to me like maybe your MAF or knock sensors are broken. However, pulling codes from the computer would be your next step in deciding what to fix next.
doesn't matter if timing is electric. when I did my t-belt on my current engine it was about 15 off too ...it looks like some people may not notice the alignment arrows. Mine ran better after this and oil pump as well.

I agree with the maf being a potential issue, sensors next. Pull the codes.
