I agree the 300ZX is way more sportier. I almost ended up with one before I found my '92.

Most likely the only other "period" sports car I'd buy is the Dodge Stealth, Mitsu 3000GT twins. But they have even LESS back seat than the SVX. Having 2 kids I NEED a back seat occasionally. We have a Legacy Wagon for family duties, but once in awhile I might need to transport the kidlets.

AWD is big for me. When I was searching for cars, I didn't search for anything that wasn't AWD...I don't care if the car looks like crap - it has AWD and that's the most important.

I was looking at a Stealth R/T Twin Turbo for a project (before my ebony turned into a project).

I am quite happy with my silver and would not trade it for a equally modified Z

I agree awd is much more important to me than the looks. If the car happens to be good looking though like the SVX than thats even better.

Well I just feel lucky that I have a variety of vehicles to choose from when I go driving. I just like driving the SVX more...

Comparison B/W the SVX and Z:

+ SVX has a quicker response than the Z
+ SVX has better quality material (at least from the inside) than the Z
+ SVX has a rare and unique and EVERLASTING design which the eye cannot get tired of!
- SVX has excessive and useless weight...
- SVX has a very bad weight distribution criteria... its nose is waaaaaaay HEAVY

+ Z has the looks... but after a while.... becomes boring!
+ Z has an excellent weight distribution... perfect for drifting!!
+ Z is on its extreme diet (you only need to remove the spare.. and that's it! the rest is already made by lightweight material)... You can also install lightweight seats... but I love the OEM ORANGE ones...
- Z has a low quality interior material... easily scratchable and PLASTIC!
- Z mainly experiences hectic clutch issues (acts randomly )
- A "Kia POP" can overcome the Z in its first and second gear shifts... but from the third and above... Oh MOMMA
