Mat, if you're gonna be passing through anyhoo, at least stop by for a visit, and to meet us. Perhaps we can have lunch or dinner, or something. Just a thought.

Sounds good

Sounds like a good idea. We'll have to talk around the end of September, see when we can meet.

Smile Thanks

Thanks for sending your registration information and check, Randy. I'm still waiting for you other guys. I'll send 'em in when I'm certain I have everyone who is going to attend.
I received my membership kit for MCC today, too. It has a real cool STICKER for my car. Maybe I'll put it on the drivers' door - right under my name, which is in those chromie stick-on letters. Or maybe above the 'Moon-equipped' eyes on the rocker panel. That'd be pretty cool, right eddy? Or I could use it to hold down the coax cable that curls around the top of the trunk to the magnetic CB antenna. Ooops, I mean the double-sided sticky tape mounted CB antenna (trunks plastic - or something). Gosh, only one sticker - so many cool places to put it.

Absolutely! Didja get them curb feelers and dalmation seat covers put on yet? Don't fergit to load up the back seat area with empty beer cans. I think Aredub has an outlet for gun racks that fit the back window of an SVX too!

Summer's here! The city fathers here in thier great wisdom close off the main street of town for parades in the summer. So if you live on the south side of this wonderful little lakeside community, tough luck charley, you ain't going nowhere until the parade is over! (Guess which side of town I live on?)

I *HATE* parades!

Was that a slam? I'm thinkin' maybe that was a slam. If'n I was gonna guess, I'd say that was a slam.

Hey Aredub, it's fer you!

Slam? Naw. I'm still waitin' for the curb feelers to come in. I ordered 'em from pimpcars.com. I opted for the Zebra print seatcovers instead of the dalmations. The gunrack is a true bolt-up accessory (well, "bolt" may not be the word -- uh, a couple o' drywall screws and a drill-driver with a little duct tape to cover any "flaws" and, dang, it looks like OE!)

Exclamation Hurry!

I'm thinking that hotel rooms will be filling up for this event, and we'll probably need to be making reservations soon. All that are going to register, please get your info in to Steve, so's we can make sure we're all parked together.

I got a call from John Hoffman (svxcess) yesterday. He's trying to figure out a way to join us. If he does, and all others who've shown interest arrive, that will make six cars (Three pearls, a polo, a dark teal and a barcelona red).

This should be fun, not to mention, there's a slim possibility of getting SVXes a little "press" on "My Classic Car."

If anyone else is interested, we want to put our registrations in at the same time, since numbers will be assigned in order of registration. If we submit at the same time, our places "together" will be secure as opposed to scattering us among the other autos. Let us know by dropping me an e-mail at trspit80@aol.com. Indeed, three would be a great showing, but more would be impressive. The dates are Sept. 28-30, but, we'd like to get our registrations in early. Again, let me know.

Talking Got it, svxtr!

That's three of us. Any more? We have two '95's and a '92 showing at Autofest.

I'm placing a deadline on entries (so that we can enter together) of August 1st. If you wish to show, and be placed with the rest of the SVX's, please get your info to me as soon as possible.

See you at the show!

Steve

I might be able to slip this Autofest thing into my schedule; its about the same distance as a visit to my sister in Indy. 'Course I wouldn't be entering SuperRu in any "show" unless they are giving out a trophy for most chips in a car's paint....

That would be cool, Don. Don't forget to get your registration in to Steve before AUG. 1. We want to park together. Kind of a "meet within the show" thing.

Just thought I'd put this up again so's that those who want to participate can be reminded that the deadline for registration (to Steve Wasion -- so's we can all park together) is August 1st. Let's get those registrations in guys/gals.

So far we've got Bill from Tennessee, Randy from Kentucky, and Steve from Illinois. The deadline will be popping up before you know it.

I'll be phoning in the registrations on Thursday, August the 2nd.

Even if it turns out to be just the six of us (wives included), we're gonna have a great time!

Steve
