Yes, it's awd. The only thing it really lacks is a sunroof, leather stuff, and the speed sensitive power steering (L an LS had a slightly diffrent system from what I understand)
btw, your seats are in great condition. Usually by now the suede looks more like shag carpet

I worked on it a little today. Still haven't decided what to do with it yet.

Here are some pics.

Got the bumper off. The passenger side bolts were easy. The driver's side forward bolt was blocked by the headlight that had been pushed inwards. Both headlights have the inner attachments sheared off so I only had to remove the outer bolts. Once the headlight was out, I could get to the last bumper bolt. Pulling out the bumper took some time of tapping on each side with a hammer in the limited space I had as well as removing the bottom bumper skin bolts after wondering why I wasn't making any progress.

Once the bumper was off, I bend the radiator support and that other cross beam a little back closer to where they were supposed to be. That gave me a little more space and I was able to pull the mostly broken fans off of the radiator. I disconnected the power steering cooler from the condenser (STUPID idea of having the bolts facing inwards), disconnected the A/C lines and got the condenser out of there. With everything away from the engine, I figured now was the time to see how it sounded. I tried pouring some water into the apparently empty radiator and it leaked out the bottom. Apparently, the locater pin on the driver's side sheared off and thats where its leaking. I wasn't able to get the level high enough to see if its leaking at the fan imprint.

Not able to do much there, I hooked up the battery that had been sitting in my garage for the past few days on a Battery Tender. When I got in the car, I could hear whining noises from behind the console panel where I thought the stereo was. I tried to pull down the panel but it kept catching on the CD that was trying to eject. I was able to reach down there and push the CD in and quickly open the panel. Silly design, IMHO. Turned the key and started her up. Since there was no coolant, I only wanted to run it for twenty seconds or so. It seemed a bit loud but the lack of coolant could cause that since water acts as a sound barrier. I was kind of surprised at how quickly it started. It also seemed to rev well. One detail I noticed is that the FWD light was on on the dash. I shut the engine off and checked the fuse box and there was a 10A fuse in the FWD slot.

So, I'm going to try JB welding the radiator hole close and see if it will hold enough coolant to take it around the block. The engine seems fine, but the FWD fuse means to me that it probably needs a tranny. I'm starting to lean away from keeping it as I'm not sure I want to deal with body repair AND replacing a tranny that is known for going bad.

Thought you guys might be curious. I have the owner getting more info for me from the last person that worked on it. If anyone is interested in the car, contact me and I will entertain offers. And no, $300 isn't going to be good enough because I now have a bit of time into this car.

Hey, its good to see you've decided to make some progress. looks like you got the rad support more or less straight. I have a suspicion that radiator will need to be replaced, among other things. Still, its a nice car, and an easy fix if you can source the parts....Which is what this place is for

You know, I was wondering something in this context. Once I saw a book at my bodyshop guy showing the different measures of the car's body... meaning the detailed measures from fender to fender, the X measure between the fender and the rad support bar, cabin measures, trunk, etc....

I tried to ask him if I can photocopy those of the SVX or something... but of course he and refused... (he paid around 500$ for it )

Anyone knows about this book or even has these measures on a pdf file or something?

I think the book was printed in Italy, if I still remember correctly...

Defintely an easy fix....
A new bumper, hood and Radiator, the Radiator support is probably salvageable.....

Did it blow the airbag?

Even if it did, I'd jump on it fpr $300...

For whoever buys this car I'd be willing to give you an excellent price on the hood, bumper, etc to get this car back on the road. They'll need to be painted, but all are in good shape.

Consider it an act of atonement for parting out ol' blue.

Question: Who paid for damage to the other car in the wreck? Was there any insurance? Was the owner taken to court as a result of this incident? Due to the nature of the incident (as you related it) the other driver may have a legitimate claim against this car, its owner and the driver. If I were you I would check out the legal aspects of this deal before going any further.
