I get in the low 30s on the HWY (haven't had a chance to see if cruise control makes a noticeable difference) and in the mid to high 20s in bad city traffic.
Should I answer the poll for city or highway? |

Recieved my record high of 27.3 mpg, on a highway trip after I switched to synthetic ATF, synthetic gear oil.
In the city I get 17-21 somewhere. |

I hit 24-25 in your poll because that best reflects my recent mileage on road trips (which is all I use the car for any more). I have seen over 30, but only once.

in the claret, my lifetime mileage is 22.982 mpg with the best being 26.590 mpg in December 2003 and the worst being 17.963 mpg in November 2003. and no, they weren't consecutive fill-ups.

I clicked 27-26. My highway mileage consistently flirts with 30 (and would certainly improve with more conservative driving); daily travels run more in the 25 range.

My other SVX with full exhaust was doing really good it could push 500 miles a tank on the highway. But, i removed the stock pre-cats and redid the pipe from the headers with new clean straight pipe, then put a Y-pipe hi-flow cat that went from 2 to 1 then I put in another 2.5" hi flow cat to keep the sound down, deffinately a lot nicer, and engine temps dropped quite noticably under the hood, i think it had a lot of carbon build up in those pre-cats....also, I believe i used that "Run RIght" fuel system cleaner that you attach to air compressor and your fuel rail to remove cabron from pistons and valves.....made a nice difference...
Just some ideas.... |

I only get about 17-20 MPG, but I mostly do short-trip driving around town. Having a heavy foot doesn't help easier, like "how fast can I get to 25 today?" and "how quick will I get from 35-45?" stuff like that is probably the reason, I love the sound when you get above 3,000 though, so sweet......
