Rear Side Marker Connector Question

Hey guys, I'm doing another LED conversion, with the rear side marker lights. I made the modules, yet I don't have a car to test them, so I'm lost as to which side is positive and which is negative on the connector. LEDs are polarized, so they only work one way. Here's a pic of the connector:

Does anyone want to test the connection with a multimeter, or tell me which pin is positive and negative? I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me out on this.

Thank You

Re: Rear Side Marker Connector Question

Just match your connector to the matching plug with the wires.

It is a two wire plug. the black wire is ground and the pink wire is the hot wire. This ties directly into the existing tail light circuit, which uses the same two colors.

You could just tap into the wires of your LED tail lights.

The complete wiring schematics are in FSM 6-3, page 53. You can see it and download it HERE

Smile Re: Rear Side Marker Connector Question

here in New Zealand we did not get this as an option - our "side markers" are only "side reflectors", they do not come with marker holes in them, or the bulb & holders.

Just another quirk or option that I thought I would share with you - I have already converted mine to the USA type side marker, but would like a second spare set as a back-up (the bulbs + bulb holders + wiring connector + side marker).

Can anyone help me - I have seen a few on ebay, but it is either one side or the other - normally without bulb connector & wiring connector.

Thanks in advance

Stephen in Auckland, NZ.
