Let me know the part numbers You're searching for. I'll try to track them on our system (mainly Japanease warehouse but there's some parts available at German warehouse).

I'll make an order for couple of thing in Japan for myself just after our Subaru meeting (21-25 may) so we can arrange some more stuff

Regards
Flipper

Thanks Flipper.

Istefan, When I had my jdm car I had no difficulty with the distributors here getting parts. Once they had the chassis number they could always get me any parts I needed. Some parts were in stock in Ireland. Others they ordered from the UK. Still more were not available in either place and they got them from Japan, usually a 10 day wait.

In ALL cases they ranged from expensive to horrendous.

With this in mind if I knew the part I needed I would order from the US. US parts tend to be a lot cheaper, but customs duty plus VAT on import really pushes the costs up, so I now tread carefully when importing.

In many cases you will rely on getting parts from a breaker.

Joe

Oh, man, if you had asked this question before you looked for the disks we would have told you to avoid the US rears, as you now know they are different.

There is at least one US car in England, but I don't know who has it now. Also, and much more recently, a chap in Holland has recently sold a US spec car in very nice condition, and you could very probably sell the new owner the rear set.

Do a search going back a few months, and ask the previous owner the contact details of the new owner.

Joe

PS So far as we know, the cambelt kit will work, there should be no difference.

PPS Try Jackie in Anapolis Subaru for the antiroll bar link, she is the best for parts in the US. They call them sway bars, BTW, in case she wonders what you are after.

Nicht sprechen I'm afraid.

Thanks for the link Dyne, it is great to have multiple options. This is a good source.

Re: Parts in the U.K.

Thought so ;-) But, just let me know then I'll try to make a walk-through. Havn't ordered anything there yet, but I might when I get me a SVX bought...

Hmmm, that didn't seem that good a way to say that... Whatever, I've only had english in school, nothing in the blood ;-)
