Braided Brake Lines - any real improvement ?

I am about to pump out the old brake fluid and refill, I could at the same time change the flexible hoses. Are the Goodridge and similar hoses really any better ?

I had a look on the Goodridge site:
http://www.goodridge.net/uk/pdf/all_...s_v_rubber.pdf

Its own figures show a only tiny "bloating" of the standard hoses. It also has a a couple of curves with some unexplained X axis, what is this setup thing ?

Has anyone fitted these and noticed a real improvement ?

The other side of the same question, has anyone had any trouble unscrewing the original hoses, do they corrode on ?

Something we can talk about next week at the JAE !

Regards

Arthur

I'm convinced they are better and sharper Arthur, although it would be nice to have some empirical data to back it up!

See you next week at the show. I will bring along a set of Goodridge hoses for comparison. The whip test will require boxer shorts!!

[and that only applies to the ladies!!]

I did install SS lines, they are not worth the $$$ in my opinion... they are just safer than the OEM rubber ones

After switching to the SS lines, the brakes are much better and I can tell a real difference. That is all I did because I already had the slotted rotors on the car. Most everyone else who have gone to them love them too. Just my thought.
