Well, that's a problem.

Not quite as serious as the buck that ran into my SVX left fender then flipped over the top.

And nowhere near as exciting as running over a big BLACK cow one summer night on Hwy 88 with my 4wd Expedition. Good thing the cow was sitting down. Talk about getting some air! Then looked back in the lights of the Ford F-150 following to see the cow flipping out the back of my truck. Well, I got a look after the rear tires got back on the ground.

The F-150, noticing that my truck just dumped a cow, swerved to miss. Oncoming traffic passed us at impact so he had room. I didn't see the cow on the road until I was right on it due to the glare of oncoming lights and did I mention solid BLACK. So, it was, oh shhhh, and hang on. The impact was loud, the sound of my front skid plate folding up. Little other noticable damage. After the front wheels came down after launch, the cow caught the rear diff and kicked the truck up again.

If I had been in my SVX, this story would be the opposite of your raccoon. My SVX would be hanging in that cow's grill, and I would be toast.
