"Grunching" noise

I've got a creaking gruch sound from the front brakes when coming to a stop that's worsening. New raxle cv's, brakes are recent but done by the orig owner. Any ideas? Sounds like a loose wheel but that's not it. Odd sound-only 38k on the car now.

It is hard to say because of the discription. It may be a loose bolt on the ball joint, lower control arm or strut. It may also be something in those parts has worn out and the noise is from the clearance. Just a guess I don't know for sure.
