PLENTY of 4 doors can beat the SVX. I know my wifes G35 can. My 300M was pretty close to beating it as well.

I aproach each car with an open mind and sellect the unit that I think I will enjoy the most, then I drive the **** out of it This **** size comparison is just boring  ... A friend of mine is always telling me what car he beat today, or complaining about people who drive X type of car, unless it's XXX type I just don't care! let them lead their lives lead your own, the fact that their car is half a second faster or slower won't matter a bit blasting down a back country road on an autum afternoon!

I agree. There are a lot of cars that are not very fast.....but they are gorgeous. I LOVE the Ferrari 308. And I think DeLoreans are one of the coolest cars you can own. But neither one of them is very fast. The 308 has slower 0-60 times than the SVX (it's true!), and the DeLorean is about as quick as an Outback. BUT, they are both very cool looking cars. I'll take a 308 or DeLorean ANY day over a riced out Honda that can do 0-60 in 3 seconds. Who cares? I'd rather drive in style.......

Not for racing reasons, rather I did not want someone to get into my continuing lane, as theirs would end a half mile uip the road... I got beat by an old 80's Caddy. You know what that looks like a prowess, cool, dual exhast, sport looking car getting wooped by the granny mobile from the 80's.... Ah who the hell cares, at least I looked good getting beat. And that is why I drive the SVX! Not for power or track times because it is beautiful.

And back to the original post: I got beat by an Altima...well you better get used to it unless you are racing up a snow covered mountain road!

In Car Craft they featured an 80s caddy that had a 500+ cubic inch v8, tubular suspension components, stiff springs, poly bushings everywhere, big brakes, and huge wheels with narrow tires. I guess it enjoyed kicking import *** at autocrosses. Heh. Must be kinda amusing to watch.

I think the Altima is a nice looking car. I think it's getting 245-250HP out of it's 3.5L V-6. The G35 is a monster. I heard you can get that over 300hp quite easily. And it will have AWD soon if not already. I sat in a new Legacy Wagon at the Philly Auto show, the sedan was on the turntable. It still felt a little tight. Especially compared to a G35. The I35 was really nice for $31k. Front wheel drive is it's only downfall. I'll have to start saving for a G35x sedan after I pay the Pathfinder off. I was really hoping the Legacy Turbo would be a bit bigger. I'm not overweight by any stretch of the imagination: 6'2" 210. Of course I could always slide into a Cayenne SUV if I had the money! Size and power!!! ALOT of people seemed to like it at the show. I'd rather have a Cayenne then the Mercedes G-class SUV for around the same money.

The coupe has 280hp, the sedan has 260hp but is lighter. The G35X (AWD version) sedan is available for sale now.
