That's awesome! I was watching the WRC rally in Sweden last night thinking, 'I should go see that one sometime.'

Sweden looks beautiful.

The snow-trac is owned by our snowmobile-club, and because I am responsible for a part of the trails, me and a friend of mine are responsible for this snow-trac.

The club owns in total 14 Ski-Doo Alpines, 3 snow-trac's and 1 Volvo BV202 (bandwagon?) for trail grooming

Now when the "light" is back (in January we have 3 hours of daylight...) there are some really nice day to come

That's gotta be cool to have 3 hours of daylight.... Here'd be my schedule.... Wake up, have breakfast, go work on the car for about an hour come back in the house, have dinner and go to sleep... I think that would be awesome!!!

and a 3 hour night along come summer... I've spent time in both Canada and Alaska during summer, it really screws with my biological clock, I should get a quartz crystal installed

Snowmobiling must be pretty good over in Sweden- My family owns a 1997 Arctic Cat ZR440 with quite a few go-fast mods on it, and a 1991 Polaris Indy Trail which is bone stock.

Actually snowmobiling is super here, it's so super that I actually have 10 snowmobiles.....

Well, not all of them work, and 2 of them are real old-timers, a -67 and one -68

2 of them are "workers" (Alpine 640) , and 2 of them are "trackers" (light, long and NO extras), 2 sport machines (Polaris Indy Trail's) , and 1 Lynx (mini type) for the youngest , and 1 spare Polaris partly disassembled

In Sweden we have a unique freedom to be in the nature, a sort of "every-ones-right" so to speak.
This gives us the "right" to visit and to camp anywhere in the nature, except in specially protected areas.

And regarding the daylight time in the summer, it's 24 hours sunshine in the midsummer....!
I have really a hard time to convince the kids that it is bedtime, despite fully sunshine at midnight....

It is really a around-the-year work to keep the trails in a good condition, here we have just finished a new bridge to be used in the winter http://www.subaru-svx.net/photos/files/Sonar/14855.JPG
and here fixing new signs http://www.subaru-svx.net/photos/files/Sonar/14855.JPG

Me and the kids "on tour" http://www.subaru-svx.net/photos/files/Sonar/14854.JPG

Must be nice...I am itching to get snowmobiling, but being 4.5 hrs away at school doesn't help matters in that department. . I'm really hoping that there is still snow at home when I get off in March for "spring" break...
