A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Gas Station

So this morning I pull up next to the pumps and get out of my SVX. Immediately someone walks up and begins eyeing the car.

"I've never seen windows like that before ..."

(Good reaction.)

"What is this ... a ... uh ... Saturn?"

(AAAUUGGGGHHH!!)

FYI, I did clarify what the vehicle was.

Would a Saturn have the characteristic door dings we've all grown accustomed to with out SVX's?

Of course if GM decides to buy more of Subaru/FHI we may very well end up seeing a Saturn SVX-II

Grate story!!! I have been confused another person many times at the gas station when they see the SVX. Even other Subaru owners, if they pull up behind that is the only way to really clearly see it is a Subaru if you don't know it already is. They have an Outback or Imprezza and they think it is some brand new model they missed out on when they went to buy their new Subaru. Always impresses all.

Someone once referred to mine as a Pacer. I did knock her out cold.

Mistakes

I got asked if my car was a Saturn (eww) or one of the new Accord coupes ( ) at the same place. I'm not sure if the Accord is a diss or a compliment, but atleast he said NEW.
