re: i'm in

Todd,

If you are successful and it is around that price with good instructions, I'm game. Hell, I'd even come out to help you take pictures if you can show me how to do it . I've never worked on cars before but I tell you what, I'm a fast learner and I can hold a light and write decent technical notes ;D

Let me know

Close....but no cigar (sorry randy)

<Don,

Wasn't the ash tray supposed to be a license plate ?
Is that how you and Jean met ? >

Actually we met thanks to another federal institution....

.....the U.S. Navy!

(as long as I had to wait for the license for the Focus....I wish I DID know how to make one.... )

Significant Technical Input
Instead of sourcing and shipping, etc. wouldn't it be easier for those willing to do their own work to just buy a local beater to scavenge from? We used to buy whole cars when doing V8 240Zs, Luvs, V6 510s, etc. for a hundred or two. Plenty of nuts and bolts come included...

I'd be very interested at that price. I would have to find someone to do the work. My challenges are lask of tranny experience and lack of good facilities.
