Thank You

Before I begin to try to collate the entire 10th Anniversary experience, I wanted to post some specific thank you's.

First and formost, to our fearless organizer and his tireless wife, Larry III and Rosie. I will nominate you as the first members in the SVXer's Hall of Fame. There aren't enough good things to say for the effort and success of the meet.

To Steve Syck -- thank you for coordinating the production of all the merchandise and taking care of all the sales and collection. You did a magnificent job.

Thank you Bruce Boatwright for creating the fantastic SVX Neon sign and donating it to the cause. Funny how things worked out, huh?

John Hoffman, thank you for all of the work you do "behind the scenes." There are a lot of "invisible" folks who sometimes do not receive thanks. Let me bring you to the forefront so that people know that you have been a major part of our "movement."

Chris Townsend -- though you weren't in attendance in person, your spirit was surely felt. Thank you for creating this great board and sacrificing to keep it going. It was certainly a catalyst for the success of the 10th Anniversary meet and, indeed, a comfortable place for SVXers to develop and continue our relationships.

Thank you Earl, for trusting me with your O-ring. It was great to be able to do a live demo.

Thank you Mr. Nagano for your graciousness and support. A special thanks to Chia for hanging out with us crazy folks (for those who don't know, Chia is Mr. Nagano's translator and also owns an SVX -- she was at the meet the entire time). I was awed by the amount of kindness offered by SIA.

To all of you who made the "leap" to become an "official member" of the SVX World Network --- We can't thank you enough. Spread the word. Like I said, we may not be bigger than other clubs, but we're sure as heck BETTER!

Those of you who traveled hundreds, even thousands of miles to get to the meet (especially the Nova Scotians) -- THANK YOU!

A special thank you goes out to our brothers and sisters from Canada. Being able to meet you, was a priceless experience.

And, finally, a great big THANK YOU to all who attended. You are amazing. This event will go down (after my marriage and the birth of my children) as one of the most memorable experiences in my lifetime.
