Question Polo Green - What does it look like?

Have a 92 Pearl LSi with 92K. Have an opportunity to buy a 96 with low miles. Color is Polo Green. I am too far away to actually see the car and had to resort to digital pictures. Unfortunately, they all vary. I see light green, dark green, blue green, emerald green, forest green, etc. etc. Can anyone send me a digital picture they swear looks like the real thing on their monitor? Also, can anyone give me a comparison to another object? Someone said it looks like the Interstate Highway sign color. I saw a Ford Mustang coupe that looked like a deep metallic green. Anyone know that one? Is that close?
If anyone owns one in the greater Chicago area and is willing to let me stop by, I would appreciate it.
Thanks for your help before I make an offer.
Stan

The interstate highway signs are NOT polo green. I have a 96 polo green SVX, and it's probably much like the Mustang you saw. It's a really nice color....I love mine.

The car I traded for the SVX was a dark green '93 Mitsubishi Galant.

The touch-up paint from the Galant is a nearly perfect match on the SVX.

I now have the exact same color Galant living right next door to me. The colors are extremely close, but the SVX looks a little nicer (about a half of a half of a shade lighter).

Unfortunately, when you see the Galant in that color, it's pretty obvious you're not seeing an SVX, so really everything I just said was moot.

Whoa, that's post number 610. Must be my lucky number.

Lets look at it this way - it's not such an ugly color that you wouldn't buy the car. (BTW, mine's emerald pearl, there's a couple pics in my locker)

Polo Green is very close to British Racing reen. It may be just a hair lighter in shading. Find an old green XKE add some pearlized dust and you'll be very close.

I could've sworn that yours was the same color as mine. They look that way in your pictures. Of course, at the time, they were both caked with lots and lots of icy road scum.

As far as I know they are the same color. Mine's a '94 so it's listed as emerald pearl (I don't know why, there's no discernable 'pearl' in it) whereas your's is a '95 and listed as polo green. I just chalked it up to marketing rather than an actual color difference. Ya gotta watch them marketing types like a hawk, ya know.
