SVX in newest issue of Sport Compact Car!

Hey all,

Dunno if it's been mentioned already, but if you haven't seen, there is a small blurb on page 44 of the newest (May 2002) issue of Sport Compact Car for James Kerr's 97 LSi. Beautiful JDM Volk rims, and mentions about the few mods he has done. The only thing I wish (aside from the fact that the car was mine), was that the one shown had a turbo/5speed conversion... shown that despite the small performance market, turbo's and whatnot are possible (if not extremely expensive...)

It's cool to see the SVX in a magazine like that featured as one of the cars of the month.

it's still fitting for that mag that the photo of the SVX on that page is much smaller than the photos of the 2 Honda's

I picked it up the other day. I thought it was funny - it says the gentleman was undeterred by the lack of performance parts for the SVX, and then counters that statement by listing only intake, exhaust, bulbs, and wheels. In order to 'grow' the list they added an oil filter (Wow!) and platinum plugs (Geee!).

brian steel up here is developing aftermarket parts. He made some clear headlights that he displayed at our last meet. And there was a front bumper design i think he was working on too. More aftermarket parts for te svx aren't going to be made by anyone but svx owners. If you have an idea on something you should try to talk to someone with a body shop or anyone that you think could make it happen.
