All is well.

Sometimes, we tend to overlook when our cars are doing well. Mine is doing great, and i couldnt be happier. What a great car. I wish i could say the same for myself, though. I seem to have come down with some kinda flu.

That reminds me of the song in Starship Troopers, 'All is Well.'

Hmm...need to see that movie again...I wonder if the wife will tolerate that and a big bowl of popcorn tonight...

I drove my SVX over the weekend, and almost all is well. The left rear tire falls down to 15psi in under a week, but that's the only drivability issue right now. I have several repairs and maintenance costs coming up, but other than that I continue to be thrilled with the reliability that this car provides me.

Reliability? What, am I talking about a friggin' Camry? Sorry.

I enjoyed every second I got to spend behind the wheel of my SVX this weekend. What a car...what a car...

All is not well.

I am waiting for my dealer to get in some parts to fix an exhaust leak and o2 sensor (i still have that clicking noise).

My front panel crapped out on me yesterday. No longer does the clock or any of the temperature things work. (I tried the fuse, it's not that).

Today somebody at the store opened up their door and smashed it into mine, now I have a rather large dent on my door panel.

My SVX feels slower everytime I drive it.

sorry to hear that....

Doogie, I hope things start looking up.

As for mine, all's well right now. Seems to be running like a dream. The big test is coming up this weekend, gonna try the drive to Denver again.
If the tranny goes again I'm gonna junk the whole damn thing and hitchhike everywhere!

Wish me luck!

Sorry to crap on the parade . It's just frustrating waiting...and waiting...and waiting...for the parts to come in.

But GreenSVX I would be happy if I were you. With that new lip spoiler and your clear front lights, i'd be happy too

Ah....clear head lights, 'tis a dream for me.

I had a slow leak in one of my Impreza's tires. Try a shot of that green "Slime" stuff. Not the half-bottle they suggest on the instructions, more like a fifth (<homer>mmmmm.....a fifth</homer>). Cleared my slow-leak problem up immediately.

Smile Some more "Good"

Things I am happy about...............

-- Out of my tree attack incident I now have a new '97 body colored front grill.

-- Out of the tree incident(see personal locker pics) I now have a SVX which has had an exterior detail to blend in the neccessary paint work. As much as I know paint work devalues a car mine looks alot better now than it did before.

-- After the body shop detailed the exterior of my car they also did the inside. It's nice and clean!!!

-- My original tranny is still working(not perfectly but it is still working)

-- I'm on my original bearings(probably just cursed myself)

-- I have one new headlight which is nice and clear. I only have to worry about raising enough $$$ to replace one and not both now.

--With my CD player removed(it died) the car is now lighter

-- I have a new front windshield(bronze tint) at no cost to me. God bless insurance companies

-- All of my tires hold their air

-- I should have my alternator cable upgrade done for the Reading meet. They're Randy's favorite color. Yellow

I'm sure there is more that I could find but I'm tired

soo far soo good

Everything ok on this end. Hanna has the normal buzzing exhaust(gonna take a look at it this weekend) and needs brakes(again) but darn is she fun to drive!
Beth is running great, needs the 15,000 mile valve adjustment but other than that she's killer.
Helga just got an oil change and a filter relocation kit(with the correct filter on it, not a $^&%*&% motorcycle filter ) and a new fuel filter.

EVERYTHING IS WONDERFULL

Everything is GREAT!!! New white face gauges installed, looks awesome. Everything is working exactly as it should except my windows wont roll all the way down because I mounted my crossovers inside the door. And to top it all off it was a beautiful sunny 30° day today (toasty warm) . Had a flat tire yesterday but I tightened the valve stem and that fixed it, hooray!

I used to work as a bike mechanic and I absolutely hated it when someone slimed their tires. Ugh. I go to release the pressure or even just check it and the friggin' tire sneezes all over me.

So I'll just get the valve stem replaced. Thanks, though.
