You do remember that this site is FREE and has no financial support other than Chris and the people that donate to keep it up? Bandwidth costs money.

Do you guys even know how the internet works? The pictures people provide are from remotely hosted servers like photobucket.com, imageshack.com, random internet sites, etc.. and it uses their bandwidth. This place's locker system is annoying relative to how easy a picture area would be. Instead of looking up somebody's name and stuff, they would just make a thread saying "Pics of my new rims" or whatever and wham, it's right there. Making a pics/vids section should be a no brainer.

I like it when a member has a link to their locker so all I have to do is click on it. That is a no brainer.

I don't know how some of you think the locker is even close to this...for instace...if i wanted a pic of a blue car....I could go to the Blue Svx Photo thread and feast my eyes....compared to as currently, I could request a photon in a thread and have people tell me to do a search...or I could spend 20 minutes going through completely unrelated and tedious lockers until I found it. We need the photo thread like nasioc, legacy-gt.com and i-club!

Yes but unfortunately most here would use their locker here to host the photos which would hog our bandwidth.

Congrats Lee, it looks a nice motor.

So could you clarify? Your signature lists 9 cars, of which two are gone, which implies 7 cars owned, none silver. At the top of your sig is SVXx6.

Which is correct? Does the additional Silver car mean you now have 7 or you now have 8 SVXs?

Either way, nice going

Joe

I was kind of wondering when someone would ask about that. Yes, I now own 8 of them, but two are actually parts cars. So, x6 means 6 titled and running cars (maybe some minor fixable problems).

I have not named her yet. No real inspiration yet since I have not had a chance to thoroughly check her over. If she checks out rust free, bondo free and straight, she will probably get the low mileage complete drivetrain and suspension parts off the 2792 mile parts car. She will definitely get the new rear seat I have on hand and will exchange the front seats from one of the others. Oh, yes, she will get the Stebro Exhaust and probably one of the PWR radiators.

If I put all of the low mileage parts on her, she would technically be the lowest mileage car on the net. You think?

Lee

I lean against putting up a photo section. An easier way to insert a picture on a thread from our hard drives would be nice. The "go to locker, upload, then back to the thread" can be a pain just to establish a link.

Or maybe I never learned how to do an easier way?
