That particular car was an Allroad, 2.7 twin turbo with height-adjustable suspension. At its highest setting it is probably neck-in-neck with an Outback as far as ground clearance. Having said that, I think an Outback could take that hill with no problem. The B9 Tribeca can definitely own that hill, too.
Hmm if thts the case, wht do ya think of an Alfa Romeo 164Q4 with electronic suspension handling in that kind of snow ? I bet it will go thru tht without difficulty.

Audi and Subaru are good AWD machines to me. Maybe under normal conditions, they virtually feel the same? But as what I read, those german high-tech luxurious AWDs, they could virtually just give power to one wheel only when it's needed, under extreme conditions. I am not sure and haven't read anything like this in Japanese AWD cars..... even the latest Acura 3.5 RL called as super handling AWD doesn't have the system like this. I wonder why the Lexus SUV performed so poor in the video also....not enough power?

Oh, it would go like gangbusters until a few snowflakes make their way into the fusebox. The whole car would shut down and, of course, all the doors would lock immediately. And there you'd remain until an Alfa mechanic comes along in the spring.

, ok i covered my fuse box within a very tight box. So, now wht do ya think? , but AR electricals are better than Audi electricals at tht time.

The only time i have ever spun the fronts is in deep snow while at a stop sign on a hill....i have never lit them up in the rain....or on dry pavement while flooring it from a stop.
