Interesting day yesterday...

Headed down to Philly to pick up some JDM lights that I purchased for my SVX

Hung out with TomsSVX for a bit, then we took our cars from Philly to Long Island for a Long Island Subaru Club meet. There were about 20 cars there. We were the only SVXs there (not really a surprise). Hung out at Chilis. Froze our asses off. Watched some guy wreck up his '05 Sti right in the parking lot as he was pulling out. The car (obviously) had some work done to it. He mashed it pulling out onto the road let to the lot (which was abotu 2 ft lower than the lot) , put it sideways, slammed the curb, flew up sideways and skidded into the lot. Definite suspension damage... maybe more. Sucks for him. I felt kinda bad.. but I mean.. he did mash it in a parking lot. He mustve been embarrassed... to wreck up his nice car in a Chilis parking lot....

Anyway... the lights... yeah they are pretty decent for the price, but definitely need some cleaning before they go on my new car (which I will probably pick up tonight)

cool..how'd you get them to light up like that in the trunk?? lol

The Sti guy probably wanted attention leaving, but then couldn't figure out how to shift and turn at the same time.

Those look awesome man, nice find. As for the moron, good. We have friday/saturday night meets around here and there are always idiot ricers peeling around our lot. I can't wait for the day one of them gets creamed by a coincidental nitroglycerine truck passing by.

The corners are the same as the ones sold in our dealership. Congrats on the purchase

definatley not something I want to do again for a while. That drive was rediculous for the boredom I experienced. Thank God that guy crunched his car into the curb because it was really the only thing interesting that happened. I had to chuckle when I saw the baby seat in the back. I mean, common, it was funny. he was a nice guy though and I feel bad it happened to him

So you're the one who got them to remove the listings from eBay . . . I saw them on eBay one night, then went back the next morning to bid on the Alcyone center panel and they were gone.

Why didn't you pick up the folding side mirrors while you were there?

I had bids on those too. Mind if I ask how about much they wanted for them?

None of my pics of the meet actually came out. Got a few of the ride home in my locker. Here is one of Mike going through one of the tunnels

I might have to sell the lights, as I recieved four tickets last night on my way home with my new Pearl SVXn from the same cop.. no brake lights on trailer , no directionals on trailer , expired tag on trailer , and missing insurance card.... , and then later the car half fell off the trailer . Waited a few hours for the tow truck.. didnt sleep last night... etc etc.

That car is going to need some serious love to get back into shape...

Might as well just send it to the svx parts shop of death. It's a lost cause.
